Aileen is a non-playable character in Bravely Default II. She is the known as the Queen of Fairies, and was a former Hero of Light, chosen by the Fire Crystal 50 years before the start of the game. She is also referred to as the Boat-Lending Woman.
She also runs the Exploration mode, and you must visit her in order to explore and collect items.
