Blizzaga (ブリザガ, Burizaga?) is a recurring water-elemental spell in the Bravely series. It is the third tier of the water-elemental Black Magic spells available to players in each installment, commonly the last variant of Blizzard used naturally by Black Mages. It deals strong water-elemental magic damage to enemies.

Blizzaga is a level 5 Black Magic spell. It deals major water damage to one target and can be group-cast. It costs 45 MP to use. It can be bought in Eternia for 3200 pg.
Blizzaga is also a level 5 Sword Magic spell, learned from the same scroll. It imbues a weapon with a high-power water effect for ten turns. This will raise attack power by the amount of the magic effect. it costs 45 MP to use.

Blizzaga is a level 5 Black Magic spell. It deals major water damage to one target and can be group-cast. It costs 45 MP to use. It can be bought in Grandship and Chompshire for 6400 pg.
Bravely Default II[]
Blizzaga is a Black Magic spell available at level 11 for the Black Mage job. The spell deals extremely powerful water-elemental magic damage on a target or all targets on the field. When combined with the Red Mage's Nuisance specialty passive, Blizzaga has a chance of inflicting the Poison or Frozen statuses on the damaged target. It costs 66 MP to cast.
The Coral Emperor and Imperial Twinwands enemies have access to Blizzaga to cast on the party. The damage inflicted varies on whether it is single or group casted on the targets.

Etymology[]
A blizzard is a severe snowstorm caused by strong sustained winds of at least 56 km/h (35 mph) and lasting for a prolonged period of time – typically three hours or more.
The Blizzard series of spells originate from the Final Fantasy series of games. The spells were first introduced in the original Final Fantasy as Black Magic spells usable by the Black Mage and Red Mage jobs. In almost every installment, it is one of the first attack spells available for players to use. However, the spells always deal ice-elemental damage in the Final Fantasy series, with the dedicated water-elemental spell often being Water. The water-elemental nature of the Blizzard spells originates from Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light, which was a Final Fantasy gaiden installment that functioned as the predecessor to the Bravely series.
The "-ga" suffix denotes it is the level three form of the base Blizzard spell.
