Bravely Second: End Layer features downloadable content[1], that allowed players the option to have access to various alternate outfits sets found in-game much earlier than intended.
Depending on which retailer you pre-ordered the game from you would recieve a code with your order via email, that could be redeemed in-game around launch to receive your early bonuses. For the Japanese release serial codes were given out to be use in-game alongside the purchase at select retailers[2].

- Amazon.co.jp – “Demon Strike”: A katana with the “Shell Divide” ability, which reduces the target’s physical defense while attacking.
- Game Tsutaya and Tsutaya Online Shopping – “Holy Lance Garuda”: A spear with the “Haste” ability, which speeds up simple actions for four turns.
- Geo – “Dragon Breath”: A bow-and-arrow with the “Physical Up” ability, which increases the target’s physical attack power.
