The Gambler is a job in Bravely Default II. It is a job focused on spinning various roulette wheels for several effects, mostly oriented towards dealing damage. The Gambler serves as the equivalent of the series' reoccurring Merchant job.
The Gambler Asterisk holder is Shirley Clarence, who can be fought in the Savalon gaming hall as part of the quest Taking a Gamble after acquiring the Beastmaster Asterisk.

Special[]
The Gambler's Special is Jackpot, which completely restores all of the party's MP and gives them some extra money alongside it. The amount of money is determined by the user's job level. It has the extra effect of also applying a 30% boost to the party's Critical Chance. In order to perform the move, players must have the character as a Gambler use their Gaming abilities 10 times in battle.
