Profile[]
Appearence[]
Personality[]
Glenn is a very selfless and kind man. He cares deeply about his younger brother, Glynn, and is willing to risk his own life to get him out of dreamland. He also frequently refuses help from the other townsfolk and from Seth when they offer to assist him in finding luneclover. As mayor, he doesn't value himself over the other townsfolk.
While he was in love with Áine, he didn't feel resentment towards Glynn when she choose his brother over himself.
Story[]
Growing up, Glenn, Glynn, and Áine would often play games together. Glynn would be the noble hero, Áine as the princess, and Glenn would always be stuck as playing as the ogre king.
At some point in time, he recieves the Salve-Maker asterisk from the past mayor.
After Áine passed away, Glynn asked for his help in order to see his wife again. Glenn helped him by making him some dreamsnoozer, which would help Glynn dream whatever he wanted. Glynn downed the whole bottle, knocking himself out for a week, unable to wake up.
Glenn gets anxious and decides to help Glynn wake from his dream. This would require some luneclover from Crystalcap Mountain, an herb used to make dreamsnoozer. Some of the townsfolk offer to help Glenn get some of it, but he protested against it, saying it's far too dangerous for them to accompy him. When the party arrives, he explains that if he drinks dreamsnoozer himself, he could enter Glynn's dream, and might be able to help him escape his week-long nightmare.
The party offers to help Glenn, but he refuses the help. Though eventually, he accepts help from Seth and his party, and they collect the lunceclover for Glenn while he prepares.
After making the dreamsnoozer, Glenn asks the party to watch over them as he and Glynn sleep, to make sure he's okay. Seth offers that they go into Glynn's dream instead. While recluntant, Glenn agrees and gives the party the dreamsnoozer.
While in Glynn's dream, Glenn kidnaps Áine and runs off into the forest. This dream version of Glenn believes that she should have belonged to him all along instead of his brother, insulting him. This interpretation of him is a reflection of what Glynn believes about himself, and that he wasn't good enough for Áine. Also in the dream, Glenn refers to himself as the ogre king, Áine as the princess, and Glynn as the hero, just like in their games from when they were kids.
The party defeats the dream version of Glenn, and tells Glynn to face up to him in the real world. When they finally wake up, Glynn acknoldeges that Glenn liked Áine, and says that she likely prefrred Glenn over him, but Glenn denies this and gives him a letter from Áine. The letter was a response to Glenn's own love letter to her, saying that Áine preferred Glynn over him. He assures his brother that he was always out the picture, and that Áine loved him deeply.
To say thanks for waking Glynn up, Glenn gifts the party the Salve-Maker Asterisk.
