Hartschild

Hartschild, also known as the Hartschild, Bastion of the Shieldbearers is a town located in Eisenberg in Bravely Default and Bravely Second: End Layer. Located on the west end of Eisenberg, the outskirts of the town is overwhelmed by the lava of Mount Karka. The town became the stronghold for the Shieldbearers, led by Daniel Goodman.

Hartschild

The town is now the Shieldbearer stronghold, but before the civil war, it was a flourishing city. The eruption of Mount Karka swallowed the south road to the Temple of Fire, and boiling lava creeps toward the outskirts of town.

Locations

The town of Hartschild is located at the far west of Eisenberg Region, quite far from Eisen Bridge. Mount Karka is located north from it, on higher ground. The town's square is roomy enough for the lava-overwhelmed town.
