Tax on the Cupid is a unique, lv. 30 boss that can be encountered as a Nemesis in Norende Village and is a powered-up version of Profiteur accompanied by a more powerful version of Khint. A modified version of this boss battle can be encountered as Still No Vacation.

Tax will utilize Large BP Drink to increase Khint's BP throughout the first half of the battle while Khint enchants his sword with either Poison or Death. Equipping Safety Rings on the entire party or utilizing Dispel are a must. Similar to the encounter with Profiteur and Khint in Ancheim, Khint will depart if either his or Tax's current HP reaches below 50%. When Khint departs, Tax will Brave once and use two Takeovers throughout the rest of the battle.
