Etymology[]
The name of the spell Veilga originates from the Final Fantasy series, where it appeared as a spell in Final Fantasy XIII that raises the party's resistance to status ailments. However, the function of increasing the evasion of all allies in the Bravely series is similar to the recurring Blink White Magic spell in the Final Fantasy series.
The "-ga" suffix denotes it is an upgraded variant of the Veil spell.
