Vivify (キュアー, Kyuā?, lit. Cure) is a is a Holy Magic spell in Bravely Second: End Layer. It is the second spell in the Holy Magic skillset's percentage-based HP-restoring line, after Heal, and is a level 3 Holy Magic spell. Vivify restores up to 50% of the maximum HP of a single target and can be group-cast, restoring up to 20% of the maximum HP of each party member. It costs 16 MP to use. It can be purchased in Ancheim and Chompshire for 800 pg.
Etymology[]
The word Vivify means to endow with life, or renew the life of an object.
Although called Vivify in English, the name of the spell is Cure (キュアー, Kyuā?) in Japanese. However, due to the recurring Care spell being known as Cure in English for Bravely and Final Fantasy titles, the spell was renamed to Vivify in the English versions of Bravely Second.
