Zatz.
Zatz Mightee (ラッツ・ヘヴィブロウ, Rattsu Heviburō?, lit. Ratz Heavyblow) is a supporting non-player character in Bravely Default and Bravely Second: End Layer. He is part of the Shieldbearers, and was sent to Grandship as an envoy.

Appearance[]
Zatz is a twenty-six year old man with blonde hair and a rat-like face with a brown complexion and buck teeth. He is thin, and short in stature. On his head, he wears a red kerchief with an black eye-patch on it. He wears a short-sleeved grey shirt with a pair of dark grey baggy pants with a black belt and silver buckle. He wears knee-high leather boots. He has a black strap across his chest that holds a gun on his back.
Personality[]
Zatz is an adherent and determined man. He is loyal to the Shieldbearers, despite his ordinary position. He is determined to seek out help and obtain supplies even when he is not fully recovered. He is always eager to help the Shieldbearers to win the civil war. He is also very nimble and dexterous as he appears.
According to D's Journal, Zatz like cheeses with holes, and he dislikes cats and big animals. Ironically, this trait makes him more like a mouse.

Zatz is voiced by Christopher Corey Smith in the English version. He shares his voice actor with Erutus Profiteur and Emperor Mateus from Dissidia Final Fantasy and its sequel.

Etymology[]
Zatz's full name, 'Zatz Mightee', is a play on the phrase 'that's mighty'.
His Japanese given name, "Ratz", is a reference to his rodent-like features.

- Zatz is one of the few non-player characters in Bravely Default that may join Party Chats, the others being Airy (initially), Datz, and Egil.
